Elsevier, Amsterdam – (13 July, 2010) – Elsevier, a world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, today announced that Collexis, an Elsevier business and leading developer of semantic technology and knowledge discovery software, has launched its community module for their Expert Profiling application. The release of version 3.6 Expert Profiling connects experts across the Collexis community from multiple institutions by research concepts.

The institutions, including National Chiao Tung University (Taiwan), St. Petersburg University (Russia), University of Stellenbosch (South Africa) and the University of Vigo (Spain), will use the tool to analyze current output in order to enhance their near and long term research strategies.
